Please HELP!! Brownie is my second daschund my first one was with us for 16 years and died last year never a problem…. Brownie is a rescue puppy. My wife and me are totally in love with her.. She is 1.5 yrs old and last week Brownie presented pain in the chest specially when we pick her up—Really worry I took her to our vet --- At the time she was ok, no problem walking the only problem she presented was that she could not jump on the sofa and when we pick her up she will start crying. The doctor did x-rays and it was evident that at the level of t-12 there was a slight subluxation of the vertebra and t10-t11 where very close. The doctor prescribed prednisone…We started the treatment that same day..The next day Brownie could hardly walk and cried all day… So we took her again to the vet. and give us Torbugesic, which is a painkiller. Today 3 days after she is having problems eating, urinating, and walking. She has filing in her back and back paws . Any suggestions? She is such a sweetie and represents a big part of are little family
