Hi there! I want to thank Kelly and Daisy for this great site and inspirational story. My almost 4 year old mini girl Toffee got under a neighbours wooden fence when they took it down and replaced it with newer wood in May. She was fine for a few weeks, then started yelping and shivering in pain. My vet said she likely did something trying to get back under the fence into our yard. She has been on Prednasone and was on Robacette for a course, and we have now decided it's time for her to go to Guelph for tests to see which disk is for sure causing the problem. My vet speaking with vets at Guelph has determined an MRI would be the best route followed by surgery. I hate to see her not herself and I certainly do not want to put her down! I am wondering what to expect when they fuse the two vertabrae together and others experiences with the post surgery excercises etc. Many thanks! 8^)
