My Doxie just had back surgery t12/13 His back paws were paralyzed for less then a few hours before surgery. He responded to deep pain only. The Surgeon said everything went well. Does anyone know how long the recovery period usually is. The day after surery he is wagging his tail. He tries standing on back paws, but that only last a few seconds.
